IMG Associations Announces Five-Year Extension with International Coach Federation

LEXINGTON, Ky., (May 7, 2010) – IMG Associations, the association management division of IMG, has signed a five-year extension to its management agreement with the International Coach Federation. IMG has served as the ICF’s professional management firm since 2005.

“ICF and IMG Associations have enjoyed a true partnership,” said Steve Cornwell, Senior Vice President for IMG Associations. “ICF”s leadership, strategic vision and direction, combined with IMG Associations operational expertise has made for a winning combination. Over the past five years, ICF has experienced 54 percent growth in membership, triple digit revenue growth and has brought two international offices online. We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to continue our partnership with such an amazing organization.”

The International Coach Federation is the largest worldwide resource for professional coaches and the source for those who are seeking a coach. A nonprofit organization, the group was formed in 1995 by individual members-professionals who practice coaching, including Executive Coaches, Leadership Coaches, and Life Coaches, from around the world. ICF has more than 17,000 members in more than 90 countries.

“The Board and I are grateful to Gary Boyler, our Executive Director, and his staff for co-creating the ICF’s successes. Our relationship has evolved into a true partnership where both parties inspire each other and hold each other accountable to work at their best,” said ICF President Giovanna D’Alessio, MCC.

In addition to ICF, IMG Associations (formerly Host Communications) also provides services to the American Volleyball Coaches Association, International SPA Association, National Tour Association, Receptive Services Association of America, Quest International Users Group, World Religious Travel Association and other member organizations.
