As an active member of the AMC Institute, IMG Associations fully complies with the institute’s Code of Ethics and Professional Practices, formal standards that signify our commitment to maintain a high level of ethics, service and professional conduct.
Professionalism
We maintain memberships in the American Society of Association Executives, Professional Convention Management Association and other organizations that support the professionalism of our organization and staff. Our staff members have been recognized for excellence by the ASAE, Association Trends Magazine, Society of National Association Publications, Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International, American Society of Business Publication Editors, American Advertising Federation and others.
IMG’s internal efforts include continuous staff training. We offer our staff opportunities to network and gain knowledge through a variety of opportunities, designed to provide a fun learning environment and help our employees gain cross-functional awareness.
Webinars and "Lunch and Learn" Sessions
Our internal Knowledge Team hosts opportunities for staff members to participate in webinar presentations from external experts as well as learn from their fellow internal experts through informal lunchtime sharing opportunities.Topics range from how to better leverage social networking sites to support our clients, to tip and tricks for office software. These opportunities broaden the knowledge of our staff and support thinking outside the box.
Best Practice Synch Ups
Brainstorming and learning about other staff’s best practices really give everyone a chance to create new ideas to save time and money for our clients. Our Functional Team meetings bring together staff with similar responsibilities serving different clients to brainstorm great new ideas share best practices.
New Client Orientations
No matter how big or small the project, our Client Success Team holds an orientation session to introduce staff to each new IMG Associations client. These presentations include 3-4 dates to ensure all staff can attend. Typical content includes a PowerPoint presentation and a question/answer section. These orientations generate knowledge and excitement about each new client, as well as help us identify synergies with current clients.
Internal Newsletters
Our monthly internal IMG Associations newsletter is a fun way to ensure staff know what's happening with all our clients. Content includes key updates for each association and shared service team, staff announcements (birthdays, new hires, weddings, etc.), training sessions, recognitions, and volunteer opportunities.
Client Communication
IMG Associations recognizes that our association partners count on us to ensure the daily work of their organization is completed in a timely way and in keeping with their expectation. We keep our associations in the know through communiqués and reports from the executive director and staff, sharing press releases and announcements, and our IMG Associations external newsletter.
