Story
IMG Associations provides its clients with skilled staff members and executive leadership, knowledgeable in strategy development. The ICF, a global association made up of professional business and life coaches, came to IMG in 2005 with blurred strategies for the organization's future and a less-than-stellar balance sheet. The global Board of Directors had an aggressive vision for the future of the ICF but needed to significantly alter infrastructure, enhance staff support and build revenues to fund those strategies.
How?
A carefully planned and well-executed strategy to transform the ICF’s way of thinking, planning, and messaging was put into action through the association’s knowledge-based strategic plan. This plan, coupled with dynamic, experienced executive staff support, a strong global network of resources and a laser-like focus on the ICF, IMG has created impressive growth in a number of areas for this association.
IMG Impact
As a result of partnering with IMG, ICF membership has grown 66 percent; financial reserves are now strong; the revenue streams are multiple and diversified and two key measurements of success, applications for the ICF Credential and membership growth outside North America, have skyrocketed. Today, the ICF continues to break benchmarks while working toward the goals set forth in the strategic plan.
